Demonstration of new warfare shown in missile ambush of USS Truman a $13billion floating fortress

On  April 2025 was subjected to a multi vector attack of drones and ballistic system from Houthis  from Yemen

     Missile and drone ambush at seas

1.  The destroyers were equipped with combat system that monitored the attack  However the attackers had electronic system to blind the radars of the battle group with  electromagnetic countermeasures (USS  Gravely and Mason) 12 km away with their Aegis System.    Drones were flown in to seek weakness of the battle group weapons system

    The attack was neutralized.   No lives  were lost no aircraft was damaged

    Definitely the warfare has changed. 

2.  The counter attack featured traditional defense:

     Hawkeye flew to seek out targets to share with  battle group.   The enemies launched from mobile launchers

3.  The main weapon was not the usual Dome or Patriot system but something else

    Silent warfare.

     Electromagnetic countermeasures so that the drones and missile control is lost and they simply fall from the skies

     -     from Growlers

     -     from Gravely and Mason   SLK 32  - silent warfare.   SLK 32 sent powerful  signals to disable drones

        It saved resupply of munitions.   And was more effective

If Russia used this vs Ukraine, or Israel vs Iran.

US thus despite huge costs read the way defense and attack in the age of missiles can be fought silently
