Will future wars being fought by Robots and AI be less deadlier or will cause massive slaughtter?

 The race is on to build unmanned water and aierial war vehicles and robots to support infantry:   fighting, supplies and communication.

Will the future wars be deadlier?  Or safer for soldies and military?
